It was an easy read and would be enjoyable for kids and adults alike. I think kids would be able to relate to the nuances of navigating friendships and dealing with conflict. The author had a great positive message about honesty being the right thing to do, even if it isn’t always the easiest. It also reinforced the idea of hard work paying off and good triumphing evil. All in all, I highly recommend this book to either kids between 8-10 or adults looking for a little escape from reality.
