Other kids should read Lacey’s Story because it is interesting throughout and hooks you in right at the beginning. Lacey was the best character because I learned the most about her, she was helpful, funny, and energetic. I was sad when the main character got hurt but it lifted me up when she learned how to deal with this problem. People of all ages who love dogs would like this book, it even has some pictures so people can imagine what is going on.
