Reviews

Mexikid is a very good book that you would like if you like drama, comedy, sadness, and graphic novels. It is a book about this kid who goes to Mexico to pick up his grandpa and bring him back but a lot of tragic events happen before they make it to the US. The book is a memoir of a kid named Pedro with his 8 other siblings. It was the best book I have read in a very long time. I hope other people who read it feel the same way and enjoy it.

I feel that my favorite character would be Peter. I say this because he was scared to see his Abuelo thinking that his Abuelo wasn’t going to like him, but during the time they spent in Mexico and in the R.V., Peter and his Abuelo created a bond. This book made me feel curious about what was going to happen on the next page. This book is a memoir, an important part of Peter’s life, when a new member of his family was added to his household.
