Momo Arashima Steals the Sword of the Wind written by Misa Sugiura is a great book. I’ve read lots of mythology and this was just as good, if not better, than some of the mythology I’ve read. Momo Arashima Steals The Sword of the Wind is about a girl named Momo Arashima, who has always seen things her classmates haven’t. But it turns out that Momo’s mom is a sort of goddess. And the island her life force is tied to is in danger. The book follows Momo, a talking fox named Niko, and her ex-best friend, Danny, as they try to hold off the island’s destruction and save Momo’s mom. And it all starts with the Sword of the Wind… I love the plot and the twists that come with it, and it kept me on my toes the whole time. In addition to the action, there were some themes about belonging, abandonment, and temper. I also really liked the cover art because it was so vibrant and perfect for the book. My favorite part of the story was the epic car chase at the beginning, for sure. And my favorite character was definitely Momo. I love her perseverance and courage, even knowing that she could potentially die and not complete her journey. I think you would enjoy reading this book if you are a fan of action, mythology, or the Riordanverse, which this book relates to in many ways.

Other kids should read this book because it is an interesting, rousing story, mainly because of my favorite character, Momo Arishima. She made me enjoy this book because of her love for her mother to the extent that she would accept a whole new world just to save her. My favorite part of this book was when they were trying to find the sword of the Wind and Lady Tokiko decided that they were enemies and sent her crab army against Momo because she thought she wanted to steal the sword as mentioned earlier of the wind. I think children who enjoy adventure novels would appreciate this book.

Other kids should read this book because it is interesting and has a good plot. My favorite character was Niko because foxes are adorable. This book made me feel confused because I am not familiar with Shinto mythology. This book is fantasy. I think fans of Rick Riordan and Rick Riordan Presents books would enjoy this.

Momo Arashima was a very good book. First of all Niko the fox was my favorite character because he always has Momo’s back. Other kids should read this book because it draws you in once you’ve read the first chapter you have to read the 2nd chapter and so on and so on. This book was a heartfelt story with action and mystery. This book made me feel excited and scared and happy all at the same time. I think that a person who likes magic and monsters and kinda scary stories should read this book. Momo Arashima was a very good book and I hope you agree.

I think other kids should read this book because it is full of suspense. My favorite character was Momo’s mom, Takiri-bime, because she is a fighter. Even though the character names were a little difficult in this book, it still made me feel excited, and I couldn’t put it down! My favorite part was when Danny came to give Momo her bag in the middle of her being chased by a monster – it was so funny! I think people that love a good adventure would love this book.

I loved Momo, she is my favorite character. I like that she’s around my age. I continued to read because she showed how to be brave even when she was scared. She showed how far she would go to help her mom. She did things she would never do, including going to a scary island full of demons! Anyone would enjoy this adventure- I even got my mom to start reading it! Thank you for the book. I enjoyed reading it 🙂
