Reviews

The Eyes and The Impossible by Dave Eggers is an eye-opening, compelling, heartwarming book. I found myself entranced and even addicted to reading it. In fact, it is one of my favorite books to have read. This book brought me a feeling of joy, and I had a hard time putting the book down once I started reading. The Eyes and The Impossible tells the life story of a wild dog, named Jhonnase, through his own perspective. Through his many adventures and mishaps, I was kept excited and in constant anticipation of wondering what would happen next. The Eyes and The Impossible relates well to middle school students by using animals to portray realistic relationships and interactions, and I definitely felt that it connected with my own life and struggles as a middle school student.

This is an adventure book and is suspenseful and is somewhat a mystery. This book would be perfect for kids who like books with dogs. It’ll have you hooked by the very first paragraph!
