The Swifts is probably tied with Junie B. Jones as my favorite book of all time. My favorite character was Shenaningan because everything! I just liked her. It may or may not have anything to do with her hissing at people. I can relate to the sentiment. I think 4th graders and up (and maybe some 3rd graders like me) would enjoy this book because it was full of mystery. My favorite part was finding out who the killer was because all the pieces finally came together. Other kids should read this because it’s just really interesting and made me really curious to find out what would happen next. It was a real nail biter. People were getting hurt or killed and we didn’t know who was causing all the ruckus. All clues pointed to Daisy, the outsider, but it had a twist in the end. Don’t worry, I won’t spoil it for you; you need to read it yourself to find out! I promise you’ll like it or my name is liar. If you know, you know.

The Swifts is an adventure book with a touch of mystery. I most enjoyed the character Shenanigan because she is interesting and has some similarities to me. Read this book to join Shenanigan on an adventure to solve mysteries and save her family!

I loved the book, The Swifts: A Dictionary of Scoundrels. It was a great mixture between mystery and excitement. I believe other kids should read this because it is funny, but it also has a deeper meaning, and some kids could learn a lesson. I couldn’t stop reading it.

I would recommend The Swifts book for many reasons. It is a very enjoyable book because the characters are so interesting and they hook you from the first page. It even inspired me to write a story! My favorite character is Shenanigan, the main character because she is an intriguing character and has an outgoing personality. This book is a humorous and delightful story that I would recommend for kids of all ages, especially 4th, 5th, and 6th graders!

If you like mysteries then this book is perfect. I loved how the story made you think one suspect was the person but it was actually a different suspect. Other kids should read this book because it’s very entertaining and fun to read. My favorite character was Phenomena because she is a natural problem solver and a scientist. This book made me feel intense at some parts when something happened. This was a mystery book which is my favorite book genre.
