For Students: How to Write a Review

Students, check out this article if you’re stumped on how to write a review on Biblionasium.

1. Click on Search for Books from the Bookshelf or use the Search Bar at the top of the page.

2. Add the book to your bookshelf and be sure to mark that you have read it. Please do not review a book you have not read.

3. Click the Review It tab under the book’s description.

4. Rate the book between 1-5 stars. You can select a review from a drop down list. You can also write a review. We have included some suggestions, but you should consult with your teacher on how best to write a book review.

Remember: Your reviews are meant to be helpful to your friends and classmates. Every book has an audience. Write about why someone might enjoy the book.

    My daughter just wrote a book review and wants to enter the contest. It’s not clear whether we need to submit somewhere or if it will be automatically entered in the contest just because it’s on the site. Thank you.

      Thank you for your comment. Every review written on Biblionasium automatically counts towards our April 2020 Review Contest! All she has to do is click ‘Save’ when she’s finished writing the review. Every review is an entry, and the more reviews she writes, the higher her chance of winning.
